ROMULUS, Mich. (AP) — The Federal Aviation Administration says plane heading to Detroit Metropolitan Airport was illuminated by a laser while flying about 3,000 feet off the ground. Agency spokeswoman Elizabeth Isham Cory says in an email that the plane was about 8 miles east of the airport in Romulus on Wednesday when it was struck.
