Expansion Of Busy Colorado Springs Corridor Continues

The Gazette -Improvements to the Woodmen Road Corridor have moved into the second phase, as widening and straightening of the roadway continues since the city first started funding the project Feb. 22, 2000. Monday, the City Council heard a resolution to spend more than half a million dollars for the purchase of six more parcels to accommodate the 11-mile project, intended to increase safety and capacity on Woodmen from Interstate 25 to U.S.
