David Gordon Green, the director responsible for the polarizing sequel to The Exorcist, The Exorcist: Believer, shares details about the trilogy that has since been canceled because of the latest film's poor results. Blumhouse and Universal Pictures supported Green's plans for a franchise revival and greenlit a trilogy, but after the film was a massive bomb with audiences and critics, everything got canceled.
