On Thursday, the European Union filed preliminary antitrust charges against six Hollywood studios, including Disney and 20th Century Fox. The complaint also names Sky UK, focusing on the "contractual restrictions" that prevent the British satellite broadcaster from airing films and TV show from the six major movie studios to EU countries outside of Ireland and the U.K. "European consumers want to watch the pay-TV channels of their choice regardless of where they live or travel in the EU," said EU Commissioner Margrethe Vestager.
