Sad news as the team behind the ever-popular EmuDeck software that is so popular on handhelds such as the Steam Deck and ROG Ally has confirmed the death of its anticipated hardware version and the project is now no more. Well, it never was, but it is now a case of what might have been. Back at the end of August Readwrite Gaming reported that EmuDeck was planning a hardware ‘console’ that bore more than a passing resemblance in appearance at least to the late, great Sega Dreamcast. In truth, the mini-PC running the Bazzite Linux front-end was always destined to struggle.
