BOULDER — The director of the Boulder Marathon has agreed to not run any marathons or races in Boulder County for the next seven years, resolving part of a lawsuit filed against him after two canceled races. The Daily Camera reports (http://bit.ly/1GphkDw ) that Boulder County District Attorney Stan Garnett has sued Jeff Mason and his company, saying the race director continued to collect entry fees for the 2014 race that he eventually canceled even though he knew he had failed to secure the necessary permits. The 2013 Boulder Marathon was canceled due to flooding. Garnett's office is still seeking nearly $200,000 in compensation for the runners who lost their entry fees in the two canceled races. Mason
