A new El Paso County Department of Human Services satellite office aims to better cater to people on Colorado Springs' east side. A variety of services are offered at the new office, 5853 Championship View. It's next to the El Paso County Veterans Affairs office, off Barnes Road near Powers and Tutt boulevards. Help with food assistance, Medicaid and cash programs, along with several other services, are available at the facility. The new site is open 8 a.m.
