County commissioner candidates Tim Geitner and Mark Waller each recognize the magnitude of the June 28 Republican primary. With no Democratic challenger for El Paso County's District 2 seat, the primary election will essentially decide who has the job for the next four years. "It's all eyes on the 28th," Geitner said, refusing to talk about what happens if he wins the election. "This is a very serious primary," Waller said in an interview at a coffee shop in the middle of his district. Just how seriously Waller is taking the contest became more evident last week when Geitner sat down with The Gazette in downtown Colorado Springs.
