Edmond's Best Of Books Inc. Sold

From Staff ReportsEdmond-based Best of Books Inc. will change ownership Wednesday as longtime owners Julie Hovis and Kathy Kinasewitz have sold the business at 1313 E Danforth Road in Kickingbird Square. Joe, Nan and Elena Hight bought Best of Books for an undisclosed amount. Hovis and Kinasewitz said they are retiring after owning the bookstore for nearly 23 years, and after searching for new owners for more than two years. The Hights “are committed to the same high-quality service our customers expect,” Kinasewitz said. The president of Best of Books Inc., Joe Hight, recently left his position as editor of The Gazette in Colorado Springs, Colo., where he led the news organization to a Pulitzer Prize in 2014.
