Eastern El Paso County Under Severe Thunderstorm Warning

Thunderstorms are possible throughout the day Tuesday in Colorado Springs, meteorologists say. The National Weather Service in Pueblo expects a 10 percent chance of thunderstorms before 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. with temperatures hitting the mid-70s. Tuesday night and Wednesday morning are forecast to be clear, though a chance for thunderstorms should return Wednesday afternoon and last through Wednesday night. Colorado Springs is expected to see a break in the thunderstorm pattern at the end of the week, with sunny skies and temperatures in the high 80s Thursday and Friday.
