AN RV was destroyed in an early morning fire in Old Colorado City Thursday. Resident Brandon Biemel said he woke up around 3 a.m. to "a big, bright orange window" and realized the RV parked in his driveway was on fire, according to Gazette partner KKTV. The home is at West Colorado Avenue and South 34th Street, KKTV reported. "I had a hard time dialing 911 because I was just stressed out," Biemel told KKTV. Biemel helped his mother outside and then said he started hosing down the house to keep it from catching fire.
