Durable Goods Orders Dip In June

Orders for durable goods--appliances, construction equipment and other goods made to last at least three years--fell more than expected in June, driven mainly by a drop in demand for airplanes and autos, new data out Wednesday showed. But there were also inklings of a slow recovery.
