At 10:20 p.m. Thursday night Amarillo Police were dispatched the 2800 block of Brook Avenue on a stolen vehicle report that later turned into a police chase through north Amarillo. At 2:48 a.m. an APD officer spotted the stolen vehicle, a Chevy pickup truck, going south on Dumas Drive. The officer caught up to the driver at the intersection of northeast of 11th Street and North Taylor Street.
