Driver Extricated After Danbury Crash

Edwin Cabrera-Prieto, of Danbury, was driving north near George Street about 1 a.m. when he lost control of his 2002 Mercedes Benz ML320 and struck a tree, police said. Assistant Fire Chief Mark Omasta said emergency crews used several tools, including rescue jacks, to stabilize and lift the car and free the driver.
