(AP) — Police say a 28-year-old North Las Vegas man was arrested on multiple felony charges after he was accused of leaving the scene when his passenger died after a Ford Expedition SUV slammed into a parked flatbed truck. North Las Vegas police say Omar Herrera of North Las Vegas faces mandatory prison time on charges including leaving the scene of a fatal crash and drunken driving causing death in the wreck a little before 1 a.m.
