EAST SANDWICH, Mass. — A woman had minor injuries after a turkey crashed into her compact sport utility vehicle’s windshield Monday morning, according to police. The turkey died. The 43-year-old woman was driving a 2007 Kia Sportage east on Route 6A in East Sandwich at around 8:30 a.m. when the vehicle struck the turkey as it was crossing the road, according to a post on the Sandwich Police Department’s Facebook page.
