Doug Liman's sci-fi tale "Luna" has scored the green light from Paramount Pictures says Variety. The story centers on a group of renegade scientists who build a space craft to try and obtain a mysterious energy source emanating from the surface of the moon. Simon Kinberg wrote the latest screenplay draft, polishing the earlier version co-written by Liman and John Hamburg which was previously setup at Dreamworks Pictures. Bradley Cooper, Chris Evans, Andrew Garfield, Emile Hirsch and Chris Pine have all earlier been mentioned as contenders for the male lead.
