When former Cub Doug Glanville threw out the first pitch at the Cubs-Phillies on Wednesday, the ball went, in the words of the immortal Bob Uecker, juuust a bit outside. Glanville completely overthrew Cubs outfielder Tony Campana, saying of the toss later, "Well if there was a mascot for the Cubs, which there isn't, he would have been hit in the back of the head." Fortunately for Glanville, it appeared that there weren't many fans in attendance to see his flub, which was probably for the best as the Cubs fell to the Phillies 9-1.
