A lack of east-west connectivity, barriers to access and unsafe conditions are some of the issues facing pedestrians, bicyclists and others who travel across the Pikes Peak region using non-motorized transportation, according to a draft report released last month. The Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments, in conjunction with Colorado Springs, Woodland Park, El Paso County and other entities, put together the report, which incorporates variables including the status of trail and road conditions and statistics on pedestrian and bicycle accidents. Members of the public can comment on the 177-page report until May 10 by email or through an online comment form, and staff members from the PPACG will respond to all inquires,
