FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Miami Dolphins running back De’Von Achane left Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots early with a concussion. Achane took a sweep to the right in the first quarter at Gillette Stadium and ran 12 yards before taking a helmet-to-helmet hit along the Dolphins sideline. Achane stayed down for minutes, and many teammates went down on a knee as doctors and trainers attended to the second-year running back. He was taken to the Dolphins’ sideline injury tent for evaluation and was then announced by the team as being evaluated pursuant to concussion protocol.
