PHILADELPHIA — Health care is on the minds of delegates attending the Democratic National Convention. The Democratic Party platform includes making health care affordable for everyone, improving prescription services for senior citizens, preserving Medicare and Social Security, and no arbitrary insurer cancellation due to pre-existing conditions. Cindy Purvis, a board member of Health Care of All of Pennsylvania, is at the DNC to talk to Pennsylvania delegates to bring a single-payer health care system to the state.
