Dispute Over Drug Deal Leads To Five Arrests In Danbury

DANBURY — An officer was attacked and five people were arrested following a dispute over a drug deal Tuesday, police said. When police arrived, they found Figueroa and the juvenile running after Zanesky with a baseball bat and a pipe, according to the report. Veness and the teen were also taken to the police station while Figueroa, charged with breach of peace, was released on a promise to appear in court. Zanesky was charged with assault on a police officer, interfering with an officer, third-degree assault and breach of peace.
