After a two-month investigation, agents served a search warrant at the Beecherie Avenue home of Bradford Phillips, 37, and found about 15 grams of heroin-fentanyl mix, along with a large amount of prescription opioids, including oxycodone and methadone, the MDEA said. He is charged with aggravated trafficking of a schedule W drug, a Class A felony punishable by up to 30 years in prison and a $50,000 fine. The drugs had an estimated street value of about $2,200. Phillips was being held in lieu of $20,000 cash bail. Agents said they have identified associates of Phillips and are pursuing charges against them for their role in drug distribution.
