A Denver grand jury indicted 25 members of a ring that stole more than $35,000 in merchandise from Front Range home improvement stores then returned it to get store gift cards that they in turn sold, according to the Denver District Attorney’s Office. The 27-count indictment alleges that Christopher Rodriguez, 31, the ringleader, and 24 co-defendants specialized in stealing from Home Depot, and Lowe’s stores.
