Denver set yet another daily heat record Wednesday, surpassing a nearly two-decade-old mark, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures in Denver hit 89 degrees, beating the 88 degree mark set on Oct. 2, 2005. The city repeatedly broke or tied daily heat records last month, amid what became the hottest September on record. Pueblo and Colorado Springs both similarly tied or broke daily records last month, and both did so again Wednesday.
