The high-powered Denver-based law firm Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck has told The Denver Post that it has no plans to cut ties with Saudi Arabia despite questions about the kingdom’s role in the grisly death of writer Jamal Khashoggi. Brownstein, which was founded in Denver 50 years ago and has nearly 600 employees in 11 office locations around the country, including Washington D.C., will earn $125,000 a month representing Saudi Arabia in 2018. “Our firm is not terminating our relationship with the client just like the United States is not severing its relations with its strategic partner,” Alfred Mottur, a shareholder at Brownstein, told The Post in an interview.
