<p>Saturday night's Democratic presidential primary debate will go on as planned, CBS News and the DNC confirmed after news broke of massive terrorist attacks in Paris.</p><p>"[The debate] is going forward as planned tomorrow. Tonight's attacks in Paris require important questions for the candidates," CBS News Executive Editor and Evening News Executive Producer Steve Capus <a href="https://twitter.com/SteveCapus/status/665342803820449792" target="_blank">tweeted on Friday evening.</a></p><p>In an <a href="http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/trackers/2015-11-14/tomorrow-s-democratic-debate-to-go-on-as-planned-dnc" target="_blank">interview with Bloomberg News</a>, DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz said the attacks are “all the more reason to have a discussion about our candidates’ vision and view about how to best keep Americans safe and make sure we can fight terrorism.”</p><p>“I do think that it will likely change some of the moderators’ questions,” Wasserman Schultz said, noting that they would "Likely would be more of a focus on foreign policy and combating terrorism and national security than there might have been.”</p><br>
