A Hofbräuhaus brew pub and beer garden proposed for Glendale, which was initially to open this year, is now likely to not open until 2015. That's according to Fred Schumacher, president of Frankenmuth, Mich.-based Hofbräuhaus of America LLC, which owns the nationwide license for German-based company. Neither Schumacher, who said negotiations are continuing, nor Mike Weiss, who represents the proposed Glendale site, would discuss the reasons for the delay.
