Gray (D) is using the occasion to call for wholesale changes to the city’s often dismal public school athletic programs. In an interview with The Washington Post’s James Wagner, “Gray said the the tattered image of the DCIAA needs to be restored and the league’s athletic league needs better marketing, more sports and more resources.
