LAS VEGAS — Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew suffered a potentially serious injury when he was sacked and landed hard on his left shoulder late in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s loss to the Denver Broncos.
Minshew left the game clutching his shoulder after being tackled by linebackers Cody Barton and Jonathon Cooper.
A look at how the Broncos’ collection of rookie contributors played in Denver’s 29-19 win at the Las Vegas Raiders.
Highlight: Broncos quarterback Bo Nix is producing highlights every week now. In the third quarter, Nix lofted a beautiful pass to the end zone where wide receiver Courtland Sutton made a contested 18-yard touchdown catch to give Denver a 16-13 advantage.
Instant analysis after the Broncos’ victory over the Raiders on Sunday, their first win ever in Las Vegas:
Bo Holds Court: Bo Nix grabbed his back but not before grabbing the Raiders by the nape of the neck. When Nix found Courtland Sutton with a dart in the back of the end zone in the fourth quarter, it shoved the Broncos ahead by 10 points.
OFFENSE — B
The Broncos settled for field goals early and cashed in touchdowns as the game went along. Bo Nix continues to play really good football and Courtland Sutton is in the midst of his most productive streak since 2019 at least and arguably of his career.
Some of Denver’s most important work Sunday at Las Vegas, though, didn’t even come on a scoring drive.

Colorado needs to beat Oklahoma State (3-8) at Folsom Field on Saturday and then hope for the best.
Here’s a look at Buffs’ path to the championship game, according to the Big 12:
If two teams tie with a 7-2 record:
The two tied teams at 7-2 will be the Championship game participants.
