Danbury Woman Sent To Jail For Helping Home Invaders

Authorities say the eight men and two women wore masks, carried guns and broke into homes of drug dealers to steal cash and narcotics. Danbury police and the Drug Enforcement Administration began investigating the group in 2013 after learning that it maintained several drug distribution sites, known as trap houses, out of which they sold crack cocaine and heroin. During the probe, officials learned the group had invaded and robbed the homes of several marijuana dealers in the Danbury area. The men, some of whom were armed with firearms, broke into the house, where the victim was with his mother, girlfriend, an infant child and a friend, authorities said.
