DANBURY - Police pursued a stolen vehicle and a suspect they believed was armed early Wednesday morning. According to reports, the driver of a stolen GMC Denali was purportedly armed with a knife and was heading along Lake Avenue around 9 a.m. with police officers following closely behind. The suspect was driving around 30 miles per hour when he entered the westbound lanes of Interstate 84 at Exit 4. Police then broke off their pursuit and contacted New York authorities about the suspect. More information wasn’t immediately available Wednesday. dperrefort@newstimes.com
