Danbury Pair Charged With Growing, Selling Pot

DANBURY — After a months-long investigation, police learned a city couple was growing and selling marijuana out of their Boulevard Drive home, authorities said in a news release Thursday. When member of the police department’s Special Investigations Division executed a search and seizure warrant for the home about 5 p.m. Wednesday, they found “a substantial amount” of money, molly and marijuana — both packaged for sale and growing within the property, according to the release. William Tolentino, 28, and Shakita Crews, 28, were charged with possession of a hallucinogen, possession of controlled substance, sale of controlled substance, conspiracy to possess controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
