DANBURY — A city police officer is on administrative leave after being arrested in New York in connection with a series of vehicle break-ins, officials said Wednesday. Ramos, who has been an officer in Danbury since 2012, was placed on paid administrative leave “due to the seriousness of the charges and to protect the integrity of the Danbury Police Department,” the agency said in a statement.
