Danbury Branch Line Trains Back On Schedule

DANBURY — Metro-North’s Danbury branch line is now operating on schedule after officials reported up to an hour of delays earlier Saturday morning. The delays, announced around 8:30 a.m. for southbound trains, were due to mechanical difficulties at the Redding Station, Metro-North officials said. By about 9:30 a.m., the delays were up to 90 minutes long. Officials said the trains were back to operating on or close to schedule a little after 10:30 a.m.
