NEW HAVEN >> A new generation of pie tossers are making their way into the community as mainstays in pizza town.Dan Parillo, owner and chef at Da Legna on State Street, is part of this generation.Parillo grew up in Hamden near the New Haven line. He idolized Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana on Wooster Street as a child and has only worked in pizza restaurants throughout his life.
