Cvhs Student Wins National Endowment For Arts Contest

A Chippewa Valley High School student's song about a zombie apocalypse recently earned him first place in a national songwriting contest, a $25,000 scholarship and mentorship from theater professionals in New York. Chippewa Valley High School junior David Volpini, age 17, spent April 20-23 in New York City working with professional theater artists such as composer, lyricist and playwright Max Vernon.
