CUYAHOGA FALLS: The Cuyahoga Falls Police Department’s new school resource officer is already a big hit with the students.Police Chief Jack Davis and School Resource Officer Ed Dennis introduced DanC, an 11-month-old, 45-pound English Springer Spaniel, during Monday’s Cuyahoga Falls City Council meeting.DanC is named for Sgt. First Class Daniel Crabtree, a Falls police officer and member of the Special Forces Company of the Ohio Army National Guard, who was killed in 2006 while serving in Iraq.Dennis, who spends most of his time in Woodridge and Cuyahoga Falls schools, said students look forward to DanC’s visits.
