Associated PressBOULDER — The University of Colorado will keep the Boulder campus open to the public on pot day this year. It will be the first time in three years since university officials tried to snuff out the once-massive marijuana smokeout. Chancellor Phil DiStefano says he felt that a lack of activity on April 20 in the past three years made it possible to keep the campus open this year. The Boulder Daily Camera reports (http://tinyurl.com/o948jzs ) the proliferation of sanctioned events on the April 20 weekend in Denver and along the Front Range since marijuana was legalized in Colorado played a part in the decision to keep the campus open. ___ Information from: Daily Camera, http://www.dailycamera.
