FORT COLLINS — Colorado State athletic director Joe Parker spent roughly 30 minutes in a meeting Thursday morning with Rams football players shortly after the school dismissed head coach Steve Addazio. “That’s what is crushing,” Parker told reporters at a news conference later in the day. “If it were up to them, and they were making the vote, I’m sure they would have made a choice different to what we made this morning when we made this decision.” Addazio coached only 16 games over two seasons with the Rams, finishing 4-12.
