Shelby Township firefighters on Monday placed booms in sections of the Clinton River at River Bends Park to prevent a suspected diesel fuel spill from moving further downriver.Fire crews were called to the park near Ryan and 22 Mile roads Monday afternoon after an oil sheen was observed on the water.
