Crestwood grad Matt Wotherspoon learned on Tuesday night that he would be promoted to the RailRiders. Wotherspoon, a right-hander, will become the first Northeast Pennsylvania-born pitcher to pitch for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. He will join Russ Canzler (Hazleton Area) as the only two grads from the Wyoming Valley Conference to play for their hometown team.
