Nevada’s loss to San Diego State in the Mountain West Conference semifinals Friday night likely eliminated an available spot in the 68-team field, and Alabama’s resounding comeback over Auburn in the SEC quarterfinals lifted the Crimson Tide out of bubble status and almost certainly into the field.So now the Cowboys face two days of anxiety, knowing they are one of several teams hoping to sneak into one of a couple of available positions.Such is life for a 19-14 team that has some great wins but a lot of defeats.The Cowboys are left to cheer for favorites in games Saturday.Read more on NewsOK.com
