The cost of Macomb County government's downtown Mount Clemens renovation project has increased by nearly 14 percent, $9 million, due to several additions.The series of projects, which started in 2015, was originally supposed to cost $65 million but has jumped to $74 million due to extra projects and a six-month delay.
