A helicopter carrying five passengers crashed Saturday in a field near Youngblood Road in the Town of Crawford. No one was seriously hurt.Police responded to a report of the crash at 12:38 p.m. According to the pilot, the 1989 Bell 222A helicopter experienced an engine failure shortly after takeoff and he attempted to land. PORT JERVIS — A fire in a Port Jervis store prompted a second-alarm response Saturday and an investigation into the evening to determine the cause.The manager of the Family Dollar store at 111 Jersey Ave. said it was packed with shoppers when a fire erupted in a center section late in the afternoon. Police say Otisville woman, 34, killed in hit-and-run

State police said Sunday they are investigating a fatal hit-and-run that took place on State Street in the village of Otisville.The body of Kiera L.
