Legoland: Route 17 interchange project to begin soon

Legoland parent Merlin Entertainments' construction of a new Route 17 interchange will begin in May or early June, a Legoland spokesman said Friday.The state is covering at least $10 million of the $40 million project to build a new Exit 125. Two men face drug charges after early-morning raid in Highland Falls

HIGHLAND FALLS — Two men were arrested Friday in the village’s ongoing anti-drug Operation Street Sweeper.Highland Falls village police and members of the Orange County Sheriff’s office executed a search warrant in a pre-dawn raid on an apartment at 70 Schneider Ave.Karl Ruff, 45, and Willie Sims, 41, both of Highland Falls, were arrested.
