Meet serpent dragon’s creator

Alta Vista Botanical Gardens​ is set to host two receptions June 12 in honor of artist Ricardo Breceda and his metal sculptures displayed in the 14-acre garden. The garden’s Breceda collection includes nine metal art works by the notable Temecula-based sculptor. There’s a giant five-piece serpent with what looks like a dragon’s head in the children’s garden. The pieces of the serpent were installed in the garden in January and were purchased with donations from the community.
