Weymouth man involved in Stoneham car crash

Massachusetts state police say a Weymouth man who reportedly failed to stop for a red light has struck a vehicle driven by a Melrose woman in Stoneham, leaving the 38-year-old victim with life-threatening injuries. Troopers responded to the crash scene on Saturday morning. Several witnesses said a 36-year-old Weymouth man did not stop for a red light before he slammed into a car driven by the woman.

 

Some unhappy with Scituate senior center design

Florence Choate knows the council on aging has done a lot of good  during her eight years as director. But when she retires in December, Choate will leave the senior center on Brook Street as she found it: a converted fire station with a 40-person capacity, 18 parking spots, endless waiting lists and no privacy.
