Man charged with DUI in New Haven fatal motorcycle crash

NEW HAVEN >> A city man faces manslaughter, drunken driving and other charges following a fatal motorcycle accident Wednesday.The crash between a motorcycle and a car was reported at 11:12 p.m. in the area of Chapel and East streets.There were two riders on the motorcycle. After the crash, the driver of the car fled, according to a witness who followed the vehicle, police spokesman Officer Dave Hartman said in a press release.
