Forum: NAACP: Funding cuts to Medicaid will translate into inhumane consequences

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently released a Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report that documented the status of death rate health disparities (the difference in rate at which people die by cause) in the U.S. from 1999 through 2015. The report stated that the racial gap relative to age-adjusted death rates from fiscal year 1999 through 2015 had improved overall from a gap of 32.
